Import and Export Data

Graphext craves data.

Start from your workspace dashboard. You can load data from your computer into your team's Graphext workspace using the dataset panel or by starting a new project. Either way, Graphext will load the data into your team's 'Datasets' dashboard so you can start working with it straight away or keep it saved for later. To discover how to load datasets stored remotely on services like Google Drive or Google Sheets, see our article on Connecting Databases.

Uploading Files

Load datasets from your computer into Graphext. Starting from the 'Datasets' panel of your Graphext workspace click the 'New dataset' icon to upload a dataset file. The 'Adding Dataset' window will appear after you choose to start a new project or to add a new dataset.

Datasets that you upload will be added to the workspace of the team that you upload it in.

Learn about the file types Graphext supports here.

Combining Files

Datasets that you want Graphext to combine must share a file type as well as having the exact same variable fields.

  2. Compress them into a zip file.
  3. Navigate to the 'Datasets' panel of your Graphext workspace.
